The red bird comes at the break of every day

Warns me pride comes before every fall
But if I had wings to fly, I'd never fall at all

The white birds dry away the tears from my face
With songs, so peaceful, sublime and full of grace
But envy turned my eyes a darker green
Made me see the things I wish I’d never seen
